Follow the route of the Lewis and Clark Expedition on the two-hour "Historic" tour, where they journeyed along on their portage around the Missouri River waterfalls, encountered dangerous attacks by buffalo and the deadly grizzly bear, and confronted other hazards in this area. Hear the thunderous roar as you behold the awesome beauty of three breathtaking waterfalls. See the world class Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center; then discover Giant Springs with its 134,000 gallons per minute flow into the world's shortest river. Enjoy the Rivers Edge Trail that beckons you to come and delight in a leisurely stroll, bike ride, or take an invigorating jog along the mighty Missouri River and waterfalls.
Learn about world-famous Cowboy Artist, Charlie Russell, as you see the museum, the log cabin studio in which he created many of his masterpieces, and the family home. You'll also see Paris Gibson Square, the first high school building constructed in 1895-1896 of magnificent huge sandstone blocks, and named after the founder of Great Falls. Hear about the critical roll of Malmstrom AFB during World War II and their current missions.

Board at the Visitor Information Center (VIC) for the one-hour "City" tour and board at the VIC and select hotels for the two-hour "Historic" tours. The "Historic" tour makes a photo stop at the Rainbow Falls Overlook where you can walk in the footsteps of Lewis & Clark and the Corps of Discovery. These tours provide a wonderful overview of the area, which familiarizes you for a return later to enjoy a more in-depth visit. If your time is limited, these are superb narrated traveling tours to see the sights and learn the highlights of our enchanting city and area in a short period of time.
The one-hour "City" tour and two-hour "Historic" tours occur throughout June, July, August, and September on a first-come, first-served basis. Departures for the one-hour "City" tour are at 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday and 1:00pm and 4:00pm Friday through Sunday. The two-hour "Historic" tour departs at 10:00am Monday through Saturday. Ask about Special tours that may be available in addition to the regularly scheduled tours. Fares for the one hour "City" tour are $13 for adults, Children (age 2-12) $5. Fares for the two hour "Historic" tour are Adults $22, Children (2-12) $5.
