Exceptional Skiing
Uncrowded slopes and some of the best powder in the U.S. await you at Showdown Ski area, just 55 miles southeast of Great Falls. The area also offers more than 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails plus Olympic-class cross-country ski trails.

City Parks and Walking Trails
Great Falls is home to many city parks. Offering a variety of activities including fun runs, concerts, bird watching and other entertainment. Bicyclists, joggers, in-line skaters and walkers love the beautiful, 8-mile, handicapped accessible River's Edge Trail that runs along the Missouri River and past the falls.

The Missouri River
The Missouri River and several other rivers, lakes and reservoirs in the area are perfect for water skiing, windsurfng, canoeing and, of course, fishing. Great Falls has plenty of outfitters and guides to help you discover some of the more remote areas and raging waters in Big Sky Country.

Benton Lake National Wildlife Refuge
Home to a variety of migratory waterfowl, including Canada geese, snow geese, pintail ducks, teal, and mallards.

Superb Hunting and Fishing
Great Falls is a hub for some of the finest hunting and fishing in the nation. Opportunities include big game, many species of upland birds and waterfowl, as well as blue ribbon fishing.
